A partire dal 18 Maggio fino al 29 Maggio si svolgerà il corso di Dottorato tenuto dal Prof. Edoardo Persichetti (Florida Atlantic University), dal titolo "Code Based Cryptography ".
Abstract: Code-based cryptography is the area of study which is interested in primitives based on hard problems from coding theory. In recent years, it has seen an exponential increase in importance and volume of research, since it is one of the main areas inside “post-quantum” cryptography, and thus a candidate to secure our communication against quantum threats. In this course, we investigate the main constructions pertaining to code-based cryptography, starting from its inception in the late 1970s, and arriving to modern day. The course will include a refresher of all relevant notions from coding theory and cryptography.
