Abstract:
SQIsign is an isogeny-based digital signature scheme which is currently submitted to the NIST post quantum standardisation process. It is the most compact post quantum digital signature. Its main drawback till recently was its efficiency. The recent attacks on SIDH, a famous isogeny-based key exchange, has found several constructive applications in the field. One of these applications is speeding up SQIsign.
In this talk, we will review the attacks on SIDH and discuss how they been used to speed up SQIsign.
