Abstract:The Blume-Emery Griffiths model, introduced in 1971 as a model of superfluidity, is a (1,0,-1) spin model with a very rich phase structure. Despite its simplicity, and a vast physical literature, the rigorous results on its features are quite scarce.
In this seminar some results on the so-called FAD and AD interfaces, based on coupling arguments with percolation, will be presented. Joint work with Paulo Lima, Riccardo Mariani and Aldo Procacci
Il seminario si svolgerà in presenza presso il Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica,
Via della Vasca Navale 84 - Aula 108.
